A New Weblog

Welcome to the new Weblog. It’s about thousand million times better than the old weblog. This one is powered by ‘songshu’ – a weblog engine designed and coded by Marc.

Cool things about songshu
  • It rocks
  • It uses Textile for editing
  • The will of the warrior

In my new weblog you never know what you are going to get. I’m going to write about a wide range of fascinating topics, such as the fact that I have a new weblog powered by songshu.

Tube

Here’s another topic: good television to enjoy. I would recommend you watch “Flight of the Conchords”. It’s great. It’s a musical comedy show on HBO.

Here’s a clip:

If you don’t have HBO or hate the media industrial establishment like I do, just download the episodes from eztv

Pitures

The other thing my new blog will have is pictures, as I now am the owner of a camera device. I used pictures in a previous interim blog post to offer a glimpse of my new jet setting lifestyle living in Beijing, and I’m pleased with the concept of picture posting. I’m still working on the proper venue for my photo gallery management, and flickr is right out because it’s banned in China.

Here’s a try at using Facebook’s image thing, Facebook claims they are the number one image management website in the world and I like their Java uploader thing a lot. The first picture is of a lamp.

I feel dorky taking pictures and being in pictures but the results can be good so I’ll work on more of those.

Applications

I now have a Virtual Private Server. That will enable me to create little applications. I will most likely announce these applications on this blog.

That was my bad - Songshu only shows name fields to non logged in people - I changed 'Name' back to 'Title'.
